광주제일고 임진우

광주에 살기에, 신안 증도는 멀지 않는 곳이다. 자동차로 약 1시간반 정도가 소요된다. 엄마는 신안 증도 엘도라도를 자주 가신다. 그 덕에 어렸을때부터 증도를 즐겨가게되었다. 무엇보다 난 목욕을 좋아하고, 증도의 해수찜을 좋아한다.

예전에는 증도를 가기 위해서는 배를 타고 들어갔어야했는데, 다리가 생기면서 이제 차로도 갈수 있는 곳이 되었다. 증도는 생태체험지로서. 송 · 원대 해저유물 발굴지, 천연 해송숲, 짱뚱어다리, 우전해수욕장, 갯벌생태전시관, 엘로라도 리조트, 태평염전, 태평염생식물원, 소금박물관 등 관광의 섬으로 불리워지고 있다.

초등학교때부터 가족들은 말할 것도 없고, 친구들과 또 엄마친구들과 증도를 자주 찾았다. 증도대교를 건너 증도에 들어서면, 맨 먼저 눈에 들어오는 것이 염전이다. 아마 증도의 가장 대표 상품이 바로 ‘염전 소금’일 것이다. 한국에서 단일 규모로는 두 번째로 크며 한 해 1만 6,000톤의 천일염을 이곳에서 생산해 낸다고 한다.

우전 해수욕장 옆 짱뚱어 다리는 갯벌에 짱뚱어가 많아 붙인 이름이다. 짱뚱어는 눈이 툭 튀어나온 철목어인데, 머리는 크고 몸은 타원형이다. 물이 빠지면 구멍에서 나와 갯벌 위를 살살 미끄러지듯 다니며 먹이를 찾는데, 나는 엄마와 함께 갯뻘위의 짱뚱어를 잡아보기도 하였다. 그런데 짱둥어의 움직임은 좀 징그럽기도 했다.

우리는 엘도라도리조트에서 숙박을 했다. 엘도라도리조트는 오션뷰로 룸을 예약해놓으면 바다가 쫙 보이는 좋은 경치로 배정 받을 수 있다. 답답한 도시에서 벗어나 힐링할 수 있는 곳으로 이곳을 자주 찾는다. 무엇보다도 나는 이곳의 해수찜을 즐긴다. 해수찜은 서해바다물을 뜨겁게 데워서 방갈로와 같은 개별탕에 넣어서 유황석, 아로마, 약초등을 넣어서 찜질하는 테라피를 말한단다.

이때 수건을 몇장 주는데, 뜨거운 해수에 담근 수건은 바가지로 물을 짜내어 온몸을 감싸면 피로가 확 풀린다. 무엇보다 뜨거운 증기와 함께 답답한 한증탕에 시원한 냉녹차를 한잔 시켜서 마시는 그 맛이란. 상상할수 없는 즐거움이다. 이뿐이 아니다. 해수찜을 하고 나면, 직원이 다가와서 아로마를 귀 뒤에 발라준다. 페퍼민트, 티트리, 라벤더 등 다양한 아로마 향은 피로감을 풀어주고 향기로운 매력에 빠지게 만든다.

나는 이렇게 가족과 함께 또 친구들과 함께 힐링을 한다. 거주지 주변에 이런 휴양지가 있어서 참 다행이다.

Go to Shinan Jeungdo

  Since living in Gwangju, Shinan Jeungdo is not far away. It takes about an hour and a half by car. My mother often goes to Jeungdo Eldorado Resort in Sinan.

Because of this, I enjoyed Jeungdo from a young age. Most of all, I like bathing and I like steaming seawater.

  In the past, we had to go in by boat to go to Jeungdo, but now we can go by car with a bridge. Jeungdo is an eco experience place. It is said to be an island of tourism such as an undersea relic excavation site, natural pine forest, mudskipper bridge, woojeon beach, tidal flat eco exhibition hall, island resort, Taepyeong salt field, Taepyeong salt botanical garden, and salt museum.

  Since elementary school, family members have often visited Jeungdo with friends and their mothers. When we cross Jeungdo Bridge and enter Jeungdo, the first thing to see is the torsion. Perhaps the most representative product of Jeungdo is salt. It is the second largest single in Korea and produces 16,000 tons of natural salt a year.

  The mudskipper bridge next to Woojeon Beach is named because there are so many mudskippers on the tidal flats. mudskipper is a fish with protruding eyes. The head is large and the body is oval. When the water was drained, I slipped out of the hole and slid over the tidal flats to find food. But the mallard's movement was a bit ugly.

  We stayed at El Dorado Resort. El Dorado Resort can be assigned to ocean view by booking a room with ocean view. I often find this place where I can relax and get away from the frustrating city. Best of all, I enjoy the steaming of the sea here. Seawater steaming refers to a therapy where steamed hot sea water is put in individual baths such as bungalows and steamed with sulfur stone, aromas and herbs.

  At this time, a few towels are given. Towels dipped in hot sea water can be squeezed out with water to cover the whole body. Above all, the taste of drinking cold green tea in a steamy steam bath with hot steam is an unimaginable pleasure.

This is not the only one. After steaming, the staff will come and apply the aroma behind your ear. Various aromatic scents such as peppermint, tea tree, and lavender can alleviate your tiredness and make you scented.

  I do healing with my family and friends like this. It is fortunate that there is such a resort around the residence.
